-ALONZO LEWIS
Veteran Services Directory has been in existence since 2015 and designed an online directory to connect Veterans and their families with authentic service providers. Veteran Services Directory core structure is designed to assist those who have worn the uniform of our nation, no matter where or when they served. Veteran Services Directory Staff and Supported Military Personnel have earned benefits through the military operating organizations (VA, DAV, American Legion...) utilizing their specialties in building Veteran Services Directory. After earning their credentials and successfully transitioning into the workforce, Veterans Services Directory staff allocates their time as a team to operating www.VeteranServicesDirectory.us.
Veteran Services Directory’s mission is to bridge the gap between Veterans and life service providers to give every Veteran an equal opportunity to improve their quality of life. This supports the employment rehabilitation process that Veteran Services Directory.us has designed for veterans that aids in gaining the necessary experience needed to work in the 21st century environment.
Veteran Services Directory vision relies on three approaches 1) Doing more to keep people in their homes by making life resources more accessible online through www.VeteranServicesDirectory.us 2) Making long-needed operational adjustments that give Veterans access to local including national resources. Resources designed to accommodate Veterans and their families who are receiving sheltered based services 3) A reimaged sheltered housing strategy that remove veterans from all cluster based units by addressing their industry preference and aligning their skill set to work with City contracts and neighborhood revitalization programs.
